Extra Curricular Activities

There are opportunities for children to take part in a wide range of extra-curricular activities. These clubs vary depending on the interests and expertise of staff and are offered as an enrichment to the learning that takes place during lessons.  At present the following clubs are available:

- ICT, Sports, Choir/Performance, Sign Class and Recorder.

The school is very enthusiastic about working with the community and in partnership with parents. Regular fund raising and social events are held throughout the year such as Christmas Fairs, discos; family events in the evening such as ice-skating, magic shows…

The choir is proud to have represented the school at an Arts Conference at The Yorkshire Sculpture Park and at the Pontefract Music Festival where pupils are given the opportunity to sing and for public speaking.
