The Rookeries School is situated in Carleton, a small village on the outskirts of the historic town of Pontefract, West Yorkshire.
The school caters for 235 children from the age of four to eleven who are organised into 8 classes.
The head teacher is Mrs Christine Harvey.
The school was first awarded Investors in People status in December 2002 and was successfully re-assessed in December 2008. The Basic Skills Quality Mark was achieved in July 2006, Investors in Pupils in May 2005 and re-assessed in June 2009. |
